Do you give talks or do school visits?

I'm a complete hermit but I'm always keen to chat about writing and books - your teacher can email me!

I want to write but I don't know how to get started. Do you have any tips?

- Just start! Jot down ideas and tinker with them. Before you know it, you'll be writing a story.
- Reading widely is helpful and a lot of fun. Dive deep into your favourite genres and dip into genres you're less familiar with. Everything you read, watch, and listen to influences your perspective!
- Find other writers and start a writing group, or reach out to a more experienced writing mentor to guide you.
- Don't put any pressure on yourself - writing should be fun!
